Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Italian sausage or ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. cooked noodles
1 tsp. sugar
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
3 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Brown meat slowly, spooning off fat.
Add sausage, tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, basil and salt.
Simmer, uncovered, for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
Place half of cooked noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Spread on half of the cheese mixture and cover with half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat layers about twice more.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 45 to 60 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
