Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    3 large onions
    1 pt. apple cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Chop peppers and onion fine.
    Just cover with boiling water. Let stand 5 minutes.
    Add more boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes more.
    Drain well.
    Add vinegar, salt, sugar and 1 quart of water.
    Cook on a simmer or until thick and done.
    Put in sterile airtight jars.
