Oven Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless beef
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    8 oz. stewed tomatoes
    1/4 c. celery
    1/4 c. chopped carrots
    1 Tbsp. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. sharp American cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Cut meat into serving pieces. Pound 1 1/2 tablespoons flour and salt into meat. Brown meat in hot shortening. Place meat in shallow baking dish. Blend remaining 1/2 tablespoon flour with drippings in skillet. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Pour mixture over meat. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Remove from oven. Top with cheese and serve.
