Oatmeal Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. oats
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. shortening, softened
    1/4 c. brown or white sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. or more or less flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar, salt and oats.
    Stir in egg.
    Add shortening.
    Add half of the flour.
    Mix with spoon. Add rest of flour and knead by hand.
    Place in greased bowl.
    Cover and let rise until double, 1 1/2 hours.
    Punch down.
    Form in 24 balls.
    Place on greased pan.
    Cover and let rise 45 minutes.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375\u00b0.
