Pepper Steak(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into bite size pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
2 onions, cut into rings
1 c. beef broth
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 green peppers, cut into strips
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tomatoes or 1 can stewed tomatoes
3-4 c. hot rice
Preparation

Salt and brown steak pieces on both sides, set aside.
Add onions, cook until tender.
Stir in broth, soy sauce and garlic. Cover and simmer 10 minutes till meat is tender.
Add green peppers, cook 5 minutes.
