Sweet And Sour Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, diagonally sliced
    1 medium green pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
    1 (8 oz.) pineapple chunks in juice
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook carrots until tender.
    Add peppers; cook slightly.
    Drain pineapple.
    Keep juice.
    Add water to juice to make 1/3 cup liquid.
    Remove carrots and peppers.
    Discard water. In pan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Stir in pineapple liquid, vinegar and soy sauce.
    Cook until bubbly.
    Add vegetables and pineapple.
