No Roll Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 to 3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Mix in medium bowl with fork.
    Stir flour and salt.
    Add shortening and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
    Reserve 1 cup mixture.
    Sprinkle 2 to 3 tablespoons cold water into flour mixture, a tablespoon at a time, mixing lightly with fork after each addition until pastry is moist enough to hold together. Press to bottom and sides of 8-inch or 9-inch pie plate; flute edges.
    Fill crust with fruit, mincemeat or pumpkin filling; sprinkle reserved flour on top.
