Hot Asparagus Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

20 slices thin soft white bread
3 oz. Blue cheese
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
20 asparagus spears, cooked
1/2 lb. butter, melted
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. Grand Marnier liqueur
Preparation

Trim crust off bread; use a rolling pin to flatten.
Blend the 2 cheeses and the egg to a workable consistency; spread evenly on each slice of bread.
Roll 1 asparagus spear in each slice.
Add the Grand Marnier to the melted butter; dip each roll in the butter and coat thoroughly.
Place the rolls on a cookie sheet; freeze.
When frozen firmly, slice each roll into 3 sections. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
These can be made in advance and after the rolls are cut can be stored in the freezer, then defrosted and cooked when required.
