David Wade'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted cake or all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. sugar
    6 whole eggs
    2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. prunes, minced, pitted and cooked 10 minutes with water to cover and drain
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Beat the eggs 1 minute.
    Add eggs to dry ingredients; mix with remaining ingredients.
    Beat cake batter for 3 minutes.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
    Place into preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
