Smothered Okra, Potatoes And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 c. cut up okra
    2 small potatoes, sliced thin
    1/4 large onion, finely sliced
    1/2 to 3/4 c. flour
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    3 Tbsp. oil and as needed
Preparation
    Mix the okra, potatoes and onion in big bowl; salt and pepper. Pour flour over all and coat completely.
    Heat 3 tablespoons oil in heavy skillet until hot.
    Pour in the vegetables.
    Turn fire down immediately and cover.
    Check often and turn with spatula, adding a little more oil as needed.
