Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. cornbread (made with yellow meal)
8 c. stale bread cubes
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. butter or oleo, softened
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
4 eggs, beaten
6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
4 c. chicken stock
Preparation

Cook celery and onion in margarine until golden around edge. Cook bread cubes until golden brown with oleo.
Add seasoning.
Add crumbled cornbread to this.
Add beaten eggs to stock and pour over all.
Use more stock if too dry.
Lastly, add eggs that have been chopped.
Bake on 400\u00b0 until golden brown around edges.
(This is very good.)
