Candied Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 or 6 apples (any kind)
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
1/4 to 1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Core apples (do not peel).
May halve or quarter.
Place in baking dish with peeling side up.
Pour enough sugar on top to cover apples.
Pour syrup on top of sugar.
Slice pats of butter on top.
Cook on top of stove or in oven until syrup bubbles and begins to candy (low heat).
May take 30 minutes to 1 hour.
No need to cover.
