Plum Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. suet
    2 c. bread crumbs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. assorted citron
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. dark molasses
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix the first 6 ingredients together.
    Add raisins and citron. Separate eggs and beat separately.
    To egg yolks, add the next 3 ingredients, then mix with dry ingredients.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Put into greased cans or bowls; fill 1/2 to 2/3 full. Cover each bowl tightly with lid or foil.
    Place bowl on a rack in roasting pan.
    Fill pan halfway up sides of bowls with hot water. Cover pan with roaster lid or aluminum foil.
    Put into oven at 300\u00b0 and leave for 3 hours.
    Do not disturb.
    Makes two bowls.
