Shellfish Cioppino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 large garlic cloves
    1 bunch scallions
    1/3 c. parsley, chopped
    1/3 c. olive or salad oil
    1 can tomato puree (1 lb. size)
    1 can tomato sauce (8 oz. size)
    1 can water (use 1 lb. can)
    1/2 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. rosemary
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1 (8 oz.) can sherry
    clams (steam separately)
    scallops
    shrimp
    fish fillets
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in oil for 5 minutes.
    Add parsley, tomato puree, tomato sauce, sherry, spices and water.
    Simmer (covered) for 1 hour.
    Remove garlic.
    Add fish and shellfish. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes more.
    Top with steamed clams.
    Serve over pasta.
