Vegetable-Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. beef stew meat
    1 large can tomato juice
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    4 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    3 bay leaves
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can corn
    2 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen limas
    2 c. sliced cabbage
Preparation
    Combine meat, tomato juice, onion, seasonings, and 8 cups water in soup kettle.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Add vegetables, except cabbage, and simmer covered about 1 additional hour, adding cabbage last 30 minutes.
