Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large baking potatoes
    2/3 c. oleo
    2/3 c. flour
    6 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 green onions, chopped and divided
    12 slices bacon
    1 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    8 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Wash and bake potatoes 1 hour at 400\u00b0 or until done.
    Let cool.
    Cut in half and scoop out pulp.
    Melt butter over low heat. Add flour.
    Stir until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Gradually add milk.
    Cook over medium heat.
    Stir constantly until thickened and bubbly.
    Add potato pulp, salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons green onion, 1/2 cup bacon and 1 cup cheese. Cook until thoroughly heated.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Add extra milk for desired thickness.
    Serve.
    Sprinkle with remaining onions, cheese and bacon.
    Yields 10 cups.
