Hamburg Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 (No. 2) can French green beans
1 can tomato soup
salt and pepper
5 medium potatoes
1/2 c. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Fry meat until brown.
Use some fat to brown onions.
Combine with soup, beans, salt and pepper.
Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Cook potatoes until tender.
Mash.
Add milk, egg, butter, salt and pepper.
Fluff with fork.
Spoon potatoes in mounds over meat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serves 6.
