Chicken Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 fryer, cut up
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, coarsely chopped
    2 green onions, thinly sliced
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. parsley, finely chopped
    8 oz. cooked ham, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    8 oz. Andouille sausage, sliced
    1 c. rice
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf, crumbled
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    In large, ovenproof skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
    Add chicken and brown on all sides, about 15 minutes.
    Remove from skillet and pour off drippings, leaving 1 tablespoon in pan.
    Add onion, green pepper, green onions, garlic and parsley and saute until tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add ham and a little drippings and saute until browned, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Remove ham.
    Add sausages and brown lightly on both sides, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Remove.
    Add rice to skillet and saute until golden, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Stir in vegetables and arrange chicken, ham and sausage on top.
