Pickled Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. red wine
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1 small onion
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 (6 oz.) cans mushroom crowns
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, combine wine, oil, onion (thinly sliced and separated into rings), salt, parsley flakes, mustard and brown sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add the drained mushroom crowns.
    Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes.
    Chill in a covered bowl several hours.
    Stir several times.
    Drain and serve with picks on your next party tray.
