Butter Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 or 2 Tbsp. milk (if needed)
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
food coloring (may add for other than white)

Preparation

Cream shortening and butter; add milk and confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing constantly.
Add 1 tablespoon milk and more if needed.
