Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 green pepper, diced
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Peel, slice and cook carrots in unsalted water until tender. Drain; place in bowl.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Make a sauce with sugar, oil, mustard, vinegar, salt and tomato soup.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon pepper and pour over carrots.
    Let marinate; keep refrigerated.
