Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring constantly.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups.
    Delicious on gingerbread.
