Mild Chili Con Carne For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. lean ground beef
    4 c. chopped onion
    2 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    4 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans, drained
    2 (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. chopped green peppers
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    2 level Tbsp. chili powder
    3 bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Season ground meat with salt.
    Brown in a 10-quart kettle. Add onions and green peppers and cook until tender, but not brown. Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Add water as needed for consistency. Makes about 25 cups.
    This is good for everyone and easy on their stomachs.
    Excellent on hot dogs.
