Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. squash
    4 c. onions, chopped
    5 to 6 tsp. salt
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 1/4 c. white vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 (7 oz.) jar chopped pimiento
Preparation
    Mix squash, onions and salt together and let stand all day or overnight.
    Drain well and add rest of ingredients.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Put in hot jars and seal.
