Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk or half and half
1 Tbsp. dehydrated onion
salt (if desired)
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
pepper
1/2 c. chopped ham or bacon bits
1/2 c. shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese
9-inch pie dish or quiche shell
Preparation

Distribute ham and cheese evenly in the bottom of the pie shell; set aside.
Mix eggs and milk in a bowl with a wire whisk until thoroughly blended.
Add spices and mix again.
Place pie shell on oven rack and pour custard over to prevent spilling.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Serves 4 to 6 people.
