Angel Food Pie(M. R. Penwell) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    whipped cream
    nuts
Preparation
    Bring pineapple, water, sugar and salt to boil in a double boiler.
    Mix the cornstarch in cold water.
    Add to above mixture. Cook until thick.
    Cool and put in pie shell.
    Cover with whipped cream and nuts.
    Let stand in icebox several hours.
