Scotcharoo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. butterscotch bits
Preparation
    Heat Karo and sugar in saucepan over low heat; stir frequently.
    Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter and vanilla.
    Stir until smooth, then pour over Rice Krispies in a large bowl.
    Mix well, then pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pack it down smooth.
    Melt chocolate chips in microwave; stir every few seconds (prevents burning), then spread on squares. Melt butterscotch bits in microwave, then spread on squares.
    Let stiffen, but cut squares before completely hardened.
