Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil.
    Add peanuts, margarine and salt.
    Cook to hard crack on candy thermometer.
    Quickly add baking soda.
    While stirring, pour into well-greased biscuit pan. Cool, then break into pieces.
    Store in airtight container.
