Faye'S Chocolate Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, softened
    1 box powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. crushed vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Beat egg whites first, then set aside.
    Mix all other ingredients, except pecans and vanilla wafers.
    Fold in egg whites and pecans.
    Cover bottom of buttered dish with half of vanilla wafers.
    Pour mix over wafers.
    Cover with remaining wafers.
