Fudge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
3 sq. chocolate
4 eggs
3 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation

Beat eggs until light, then beat in syrup, sugar, salt and vanilla. Melt butter and chocolate together, then cool and stir in. Pour in pie shell and bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Top should be set, but filling should be somewhat soft inside.
Do not overbake.
Should be like custard.
May add pecans for a chocolate style pecan pie.
