Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    cinnamon and sugar (mixed together in small bowl)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Blend flour into egg mixture and shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls into a sugar and cinnamon mixture until coated.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute before removing from pan.
