Pineapple Sauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. crushed pineapple
    1 drop almond
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. lemon
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Beat in 2 egg yolks and extracts. Stir soda into pineapple and add to mixture.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Add salt to egg whites.
    Beat well and fold.
    Bake in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
