Frozen Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. crushed berries
    6 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. cold water
    1 box Sure-Jell
Preparation
    Clean berries; wash and drain.
    Crush with potato masher.
    Add 1 cup of water to 1 box Sure-Jell.
    Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Pour over berries and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Pack into containers and place in deep freeze after chilling in refrigerator.
