Cherry Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except pie filling.
    Spread 3/4 of batter into greased 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
    Spread pie filling on batter.
    Dot remaining batter on top of pie filling and spread around a little.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Top with powdered sugar (sprinkle on) or powdered sugar/milk glaze.
    Great served warm for breakfast or as a dessert.
