Country Sausage Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pork sausage
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1 tsp. flavor enhancer
    1 tsp. marjoram
    1 c. walnut pieces
    2 c. cubed apples
    2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 deep dish pie crust shells, thawed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a medium skillet, brown sausage. Drain well.
    Stir in celery, onion, marjoram, walnuts, apples and cheese; pour into one pie crust.
    Cut a large apple shape from remaining pie crust and place on top of filling.
    Cover top of pie with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes.
    Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.
    Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
