"Liz'S Beef Burgundy" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef round steak (1/4-inch thick)
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 medium bay leaf
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 (6 oz.) can whole mushrooms, drained
    3/4 c. red Burgundy
    3/4 c. water
    cooked rice or noodles to serve 6
Preparation
    Cut round steak into bite size cubes; shake with flour to coat evenly, being sure all the flour is used.
    Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet.
    Brown part of the steak cubes on all sides, set aside and repeat with remaining pieces.
