Ingredients

1 (24 oz.) pkg. raw peanuts, shelled
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
salt
Preparation

Combine first three ingredients in pan.
Stir over medium heat until all liquid evaporates.
Pour onto cookie sheet and bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Remove, stir and sprinkle with salt.
Return to oven for 15 minutes.
Stir and bake 10 more minutes.
Let cool. Store covered.
Yields approximately 6 cups.
