Heavenly Lemon Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lemon
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. 2% low-fat milk
    1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
    1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Using a vegetable peeler, carefully remove rind from lemon. Note:
    When removing the yellow rind, be careful not to remove any of the white pith underneath or your sherbet will taste bitter. Position knife blade in a food processor bowl and add rind and sugar; process until rind is minced.
    Spoon sugar mixture into a bowl.
    Add milk and next 3 ingredients.
    Stir well.
