Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    pepper to taste
    2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. rice (Minute rice)
    slice cheese (your favorite) to taste
Preparation
    Brown ground beef; add onion and garlic.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boil.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Cover with cheese slices until melted.
