Aunt Martha'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 c. lukewarm milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition (medium speed).
    Put vanilla and lemon into milk. Fold in flour alternating with milk.
    Spoon into 10-inch tube pan that has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Let cool in pan 15 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool completely on rack.
    Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
