Mom'S Tuna Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (approximately 7 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked
    1/2 c. quick oats
    1/3 c. shredded carrot
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. Miracle Whip
    1 Tbsp. onion or 1 tsp. onion powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Make sure they are mixed well. Shape into patties.
    Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a skillet. Cook patties on medium until slightly browned.
    Makes 4 patties. You can substitute finely ground saltine crackers for the quick oats, just lower the amount of salt used.
    These make a good change from hamburgers and are just as tasty!
