Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. Crisco shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix flour and soda.
    Cut shortening into flour with a fork. Add buttermilk; mix well.
    Turn dough onto well floured surface. Knead until dough is no longer sticky.
    Roll dough to a 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
    Bake in a well-greased pan for 12 to 15 minutes at 450\u00b0.
