Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
few drops red food coloring
4 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 qt. strawberries
1 pastry shell (9-inch), baked
Cool Whip or other whipped cream topping
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.
Add water. Stir constantly over medium heat until mix is thick and clear. Remove from heat.
Add food color and jello.
Stir well.
Cool. Hull berries.
Chop.
Drain.
Place in shell.
Pour jello mix over berries.
Chill and top with cream.
Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
