Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 medium sweet pepper, chopped fine
    1 small can cream-style corn
    2/3 c. oil
    1 crushed hot pepper to taste
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Grease and flour a large skillet.
    Mix all together except cheese.
    Pour half of batter in skillet, then sprinkle cheese over top.
    Pour rest of batter in.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
