Cloud Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together; cut in shortening.
Combine egg and milk and add to flour mixture all at once.
Stir until dough follows fork around bowl; turn out on floured surface and knead 20 strokes.
Roll 3/4-inch thick and cut.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 14 minutes.
May be refrigerated for 1 to 3 hours before baking. Makes 24 small biscuits.
