Pie Pastry Or Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour (plain)
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    3 Tbsp. ice cold water
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix salt and plain flour.
    Cut in shortening with a fork and add water.
    Keep dry and cold. Form ball and roll out thin to desired size on floured board.
