Dick Howell'S Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cabbage, grated
    3 large onions, chopped
    2 bell peppers, chopped
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 grated carrots
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. red cayenne pepper
    2 1/2 c. mustard
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and heat to a boil.
    Boil for 20 minutes. Sterilize jars and fill and seal.
    Makes 9 pints.
