Rabbit With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium rabbit
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    cooking oil
    4 potatoes, cubed
    4 carrots, sliced
    2 onions, chopped
    1 tsp. dried parsley
    2 bay leaves
    1 egg
Preparation
    Add cut up rabbit to a mixture of flour, salt and pepper in
    a plastic or paper bag and shake.
    Brown floured meat in 3 tablespoons cooking oil.
    Add enough water to cover meat and cook until tender.
    Add vegetables and bay leaves.
    Cook until carrots are tender.
