Aunt Pearl'S White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    2 lb. raisins (white)
    1/2 lb. candied green cherries
    1/2 lb. candied red cherries
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    3 sticks butter
    10 eggs
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    2 c. pecans
    2 c. walnuts
    1 c. wine or apple juice
    1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add flour and liquid alternately.
    Dust the fruit, which has been chopped if necessary, with a little extra flour.
    Fold carefully into batter; fold in nuts.
    Pour into a prepared tube pan.
    Bake in a slow 300\u00b0 oven for 4 hours.
    This makes a huge cake that will fill the 10-inch tube pan to the top.
