Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix creamed butter and shortening until smooth.
Add sugar, vanilla, lemon extract and lemon juice.
Beat until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg.
Sift together flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternating with milk.
